Our flagship event series, Coastrek, is a transformative 20-50km team trekking challenge, that has helped tens of thousands of women push their limits, embrace nature, and raise over $50 million dollars for charity.

We are currently in partnership with Beyond Blue, creating community hiking adventures for mental health on iconic coastal trails around Australia.

About the Role

As CEO, you will be the driving force behind the growth and strategic direction of Wild Women On Top. You’ll work closely with our Founder, team, board, and partners to amplify our mission, expand our reach, and take the Coastrek brand to new global heights.

Key responsibilities include:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the long-term vision and strategic plan for growth. Lead the company through its next stage of evolution while maintaining a razor-sharp focus on our social purpose.
• Business Development & Scaling: Oversee the scaling of the business, both domestically and internationally, leveraging your expertise in growing purpose-driven businesses. Identify and capitalize on new opportunities to expand our impact and reach.
• Brand & Digital Marketing: Lead the development and execution of innovative marketing strategies, with a strong focus on digital and social media to build brand awareness and drive acquisition to a amplify Coastrek’s mission in a compelling way that resonates with women.
• Financial & Operational Excellence: Manage financial performance, including revenue generation, budgeting, and cost management. Ensure the highest level of operational efficiency, leveraging IT systems and technology.
• Team Leadership: Build, inspire, and lead a high-performing team. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence while ensuring that the values of Wild Women On Top are upheld in every aspect of the business.
• Sustainability & Impact: Ensure that the company’s growth and success are aligned with our commitment to sustainability and social responsibility, particularly in the areas of women’s health, wellbeing, and the environment.

About You:

You’re a savvy, results-driven leader with experience in both business and the charity sector. You’re passionate about creating positive social impact, and have the vision, skills, and energy to lead a growing business to global success.

Key qualifications:

• Five+ years’ experience in a similar role, ideally in outdoors/adventure, health & fitness, fundraising or a related industry
• Proven Business Expertise: Experience in leading and scaling businesses, ideally in the events or outdoor adventure industry, with a successful track record of growth and international expansion.
• Digital Marketing & Brand Strategy: Deep knowledge of digital marketing strategies, brand positioning, and audience engagement, with a focus on building a powerful, authentic, transformational brand in the digital age.
• Technology Savvy: Strong understanding of IT systems and infrastructure to improve business operations, customer experience, and overall performance.
• Strategic Thinking & Execution: Expertise in strategic planning and execution, with the ability to navigate complex challenges and lead high-performance teams.
• Leadership & Team Management: Proven ability to lead, inspire, and manage an experienced and talented team to achieve outstanding results.
• Passion for Women’s Health & Wellbeing: A genuine passion for women’s health, fitness, and wellbeing. You understand the power of outdoor adventure in transforming lives.
• Visionary, courageous and inspiring: You’re motivated by purpose and results, with a strong work ethic, and a ‘get things done’ attitude. You’re also bold, spirited, passionate and ready to make a difference on a global stage.
